We went to a state park known as "The Tubs" located near Bear Creek. It is called the Tubs because of the natural land formation created by the natural run-off of water from the mountainside. As the stream flows down the mountain, it flows into 7 basins or "tubs" . The stream itself is narrow in width and the "tubs" look like small wading pools.

Cammie and I began going to Atlantic City for day trips in 2000, be sure to check out our Atlantic City page featuring our day trips we take each year.
We went to Hershey Park in August of 2000.. We had lots of fun there! I was brave enough to go on the Great Bear and Lightning Racer rides. Yikes....go me..:)
The bottom image shows us on the ride going through the chocalate factory!

In October we toured some of the covered bridges in Pennsylvania. There are many of them. We found a tour guide that lists them, and decided to view about a dozen of them this year. Be sure to check out our 2001 pics for another selection of bridges we visited.
